The Independence Day of India is a moment to cherish for all the residents of India and pay gratitude towards the freedom fighter, but to achieve such victory they had to battle against the ruling British people. On 3rd June 1947, the last British Viceroy, Lord Mountbatten, declared that India was separated from the rule of British power .The announcement was held under Indian Independence Act ,that was made in the year of 1947.15th August 1947 symbolizes the victory of Indian against the dominating rule of the British powers. All the citizens of India joined hands and fought to attain the independence and achieved great success to get freedom from the rule of British government.

Independence Day celebrations bring the essence of patriotic feeling in our minds. Every year this glorious day is celebrated on the 15th of August and it revives the old memories about the hard work and struggle of all the freedom fighters. On this day of Indian Independence, the nation attained freedom from the governing British Rule. This day is celebrated with great pride, enthusiasm and high spirits across the country and is marked as a very important day in Indian History and so called INDEPENDENCE DAY or ‘SWADHINTA DIWAS’. Every year on August 15, the whole of India joins hands irrespective of caste, creed, and religion to pay homage to our freedom fighters who have devoted their lives and brought us freedom from the British Rule. Independence Day celebrations in India 2014 will mark the 68th year of celebration in India. Indians dedicate this day to all the heroes of the country who have laid down their lives, so that we can breathe in free India and enjoy the essence of independence.


There are also certain rituals that are carried out on this day in India. Independence Day celebrations are more or less the same in the whole country. The Prime Minister of India hoists the tri-colour flag every year at the Red Fort and delivers a speech addressing the whole nation. As part of 15th August celebrations, the President of India also delivers a speech on the eve of 15th August. In 2014, President Pranab Kumar Mukherjee will deliver his first speech for Independence Day to the nation.

Every city, state and even the village folks of our country celebrate this day with great pride and enjoyment. They give their salutations to the national flag, sing the national anthem and pay tribute to all the freedom fighters. Tricolor and traditional sweets are distributed among all friends and office colleagues. Cultural events are organized in various parts of the country. Most importantly, schools and colleges organize various functions to celebrate this national occasion. Children participate in various functions honoring the soldiers of the country of the nation. There are many programmes on television too, that focus on this special day.

Independence Day is celebrated on 15 August each year in India as in 1947, India got independence from the Britishers. National, state and local government offices, post offices, school, privet tution, and banks are closed on this day.

It was only after many years of revolts that we gained freedom and became an independent country at 15 August 1947. Red Fort in Delhi is also of historical essence regarding our independence. It is where Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru unveiled free India’s flag for the first time.

People pay homage to the leaders and all those freedom fighters who fought for India’s freedom in the past. On Independence Day all the major government buildings are illuminated with colourful lights and Flags. People flutter the Tricolour flag on independence day.

Many TV channels show movies related to India’s freedom movement and Indian freedom fighters.
On Independence day, prime minister unfurls our flag at Red Fort in Old Delhi and addresses the masses.

On the occasion of Independence Day, kite flying is a common phenomenon. The skies are filled with numerous kites flown by kids and children which symbolize India’s free spirit. Various kites of different styles and colours including the tricolour are available in the marketplaces and even the elders participate in kite flying competitions with great fervour.

The president of India addresses the Nation on the eve of Independence Day. Many schools and colleges also take part in this ceremony of Flag hoisting. Patriotic and cultural functions are held at schools and offices in which people participate with vigour and enthusiasm.

India has a long story which depicts its tale of achieving independence. The struggle started in 1857 with the Sepoy Mutiny in Meerut in which many young freedom fighters like Mangal Pandey participated. This revolt was the initial spark that ultimately brought British empire down to ashes.

From that day, every year we celebrate this day as our Independence Day.

Hello friends, I, Ashabul Islam, welcome to all of us, Indians and we are proud to be Indian and with this same spirit, let us know how to give a speech on National Agenda on August 15.

First of all,Let us know how many ways you can give a speech on August 15. Simply we know that the Speech can be given mainly in two types on August 15 those are "Fully organized well-organized speech"  and  Self-made speech.

Let us discuss about these type of speech.

1. Fully organized well-organized speech

In the fully organized streamlined speech, We must keep the speech written by some senior teacher or experienced person in advance and we can prepare the speech twice by repeating the speech some people carry it on paper and take the stage But in front of Mike speaks but friends, it is good to do small children, and nowadays even small children also remember and speak, the speech should be systematic But you better go take if the paper is not.

India got independence on 15^th of August in 1947 from the British rule. After independence we got our all the fundamental rights in our own Nation, our Motherland. We all should feel proud to be an Indian and admire our fortune that we took birth on the land of an Independent India. History of slave India reveals everything that how our ancestors and forefathers had worked hard and suffered all the brutal behavior of Britishers. 2. Self-made speech

We are going ahead by actively participating in the sports like Olympics, Commonwealth games and Asian games. Independence day is celebrated all over India with much pleasure. This day is of great importance to all Indian citizens as it gives us opportunity to remember all those freedom fighters who had sacrificed their lives just for giving us a beautiful and peaceful life. Earlier to the independence, people were not allowed to get education, eat healthy food and live normal life like us.

Friends are on 15th August or 26th January the basic premise of the speech is the idea of ​​the speaker If you are making a speech by yourself or taking help of a senior then keep the ideas open in the speech as you would know that on the 15th of August You will not come alone to give a speech.
